Mrs. Keller

I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This will be my 21st year of teaching. I taught 2nd grade for 10 years (6 in Gwinnett County and 4 at Dolvin), and now this will be my 11th year in 1st grade! I grew up in a small town just outside of Athens, GA. I attended college at UGA (GO DAWGS!) for my undergraduate degree, Piedmont College for my Masters, and Nova Southeastern University for my Specialist Degree. I love to exercise, read, watch movies, and spend time with my family, especially my husband Jimmy, our two boys, Xavier (6th grade) and Logan (2nd grade), and our dog, Coco.

I believe that all children can learn, and that I can make an impact on their lives through teaching. What a blessing it truly is to be a teacher! I believe that students and teachers should work together to create a learning environment that cultivates progress and growth, allowing children to take ownership of their learning goals. It is important for each child to take pride in becoming a lifelong learner. Thank you for sharing your child with me this year. I am looking forward to an exciting year of teaching and learning!
